I’m Ayush Shrestha, a VFX Artist born in Nepal, the land of the Himalayas, and currently based in Los Angeles. Growing up, I was mesmerized by the magic of Hollywood movies—the way visual effects could transform imagination into reality. That fascination turned into a lifelong passion, and today, with over 13 years of experience, I’m proud to create the kind of movie magic that once inspired me.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked on a variety of feature films, TV series, animated projects, and commercials, bringing dynamic worlds to life through FX simulation and procedural effects. My expertise includes creating fire, smoke, explosions, dust, debris, water, and particle effects using tools such as Houdini, Maya, Unreal Engine, Nuke, as well as experience with FumeFX, 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, After Effects, Realflow, and Photoshop.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, I approach VFX with a strong technical foundation and a deep understanding of physics and dynamics. My Master’s degree in Visual Effects enables me to combine technical precision with artistic creativity to achieve cinematic realism.
